Funding & Balances

Your Oncade balance is the pool of funds you pay out from. You can fund it by bank transfer. Everything that settles to you lands in the same balance: paid invoices, platform revenue, and deposits.

Adding funds

From Get paid → Add funds, choose a transfer option and send funds from your bank. When the transfer arrives, the funds land in your balance. You can then use them immediately for payouts and withdrawals.

  • Transfer options depend on your region. US accounts can use ACH and wire. Other regions have local options (SEPA, SPEI, Pix, and more). The Add funds page shows what is available to you, with any minimums and per-transfer limits. See Bank transfer types.
  • Send from an account in your business's name where possible. Transfers from third parties face extra restrictions and lower limits in some regions.
  • Arrival times vary by transfer type, from near-instant local transfers to a few business days for ACH.

Balances

The Balances page, under Records, shows your available funds. Oncade holds balances in US dollars. Money flows in from deposits, paid invoices, and reconciled platform revenue. Money flows out through payouts, remittances, and withdrawals.

Receiving accounts

Receiving accounts are the account details Oncade gives you so clients and platforms can pay you. Each has its own deposit details per currency. Give the details to platforms and partners that pay you. Incoming deposits move into your Oncade balance automatically. See Revenue & Royalties for how Oncade reconciles incoming revenue.

Bank transfer types

Every bank transfer travels over a transfer type, such as ACH or SEPA. The country and currency of the bank account decide which type applies. Add funds, Withdraw, and the invoice page show only the types you can use, and some appear only after your business finishes verification for that region.

For money in and out

  • ACH: a bank transfer between US banks, in US dollars. Use it to add funds, to pay an invoice, to receive into a US dollar receiving account, and to withdraw to a US bank account.
  • SEPA: a bank transfer in euros (EUR) between banks in Europe. The bank account is identified by its IBAN.
  • SPEI: the bank transfer system in Mexico, in Mexican pesos (MXN) only. The bank account is identified by its CLABE.
  • Pix: the bank transfer system in Brazil, in Brazilian reais (BRL). The bank account is identified by a Pix key.
  • Faster Payments: a bank transfer between UK banks, in pounds sterling (GBP).

You can withdraw over SEPA, SPEI, Pix, and Faster Payments to a linked bank account in that currency. To receive money over one of them, your business must first be approved for that type. Until then, it does not appear on Add funds or the invoice page, and availability may vary.

For money in only

  • Wire: a US domestic wire transfer, in US dollars. Use it to add funds, to pay an invoice, or to receive into a US dollar receiving account. To withdraw to a US bank, use ACH.

For withdrawals only

  • SWIFT: an international bank transfer in US dollars to a bank outside the US, for example in Singapore, China, or Vietnam.
  • InstaPay and PESONet: bank transfers in the Philippines, in Philippine pesos (PHP).
  • IMPS and bank transfer (India): transfers to a bank in India, in Indian rupees (INR). A bank transfer uses the account number and IFSC code.
  • Bank transfer (Singapore): a local transfer to a bank in Singapore, in Singapore dollars (SGD).
  • CIPS: a bank transfer to a bank in China, in Chinese yuan (CNY).

An account identifier is not a transfer type. An IBAN, a CLABE, and a Pix key each identify a bank account. The transfer type is how the money gets there: SEPA pays an IBAN, SPEI pays a CLABE, and Pix pays a Pix key. A US bank account uses a routing number and an account number. Some accounts use different numbers for ACH and wire, so use the numbers shown for the way you are sending.

Verification requirement

You must complete verification before you can fund or receive. If the Add funds page is disabled, finish the steps under Finish setup first. See Getting Started.
